Kempty Fall (15 km)

It is the cynosure of all eyes in Mussoorie. Being
the biggest fall in the hill town of Mussoorie,
visitors come here in hordes to enjoy watching the cascading waters.
The strikingly beautiful waterfall is located in the midst of
cliffs, a befitting location. At Kempty Falls in Mussoorie,
one can soak up the impressive view of the waters that come
cascading down from an altitude of 4,500 ft. A number of eating
outlets and shops are located close to the waterfall.
Nag Tibba (55 km)

One of the most exciting excursion places for trekkers in
Mussoorie, Nag Tibba promises a unique trekking experience.
To reach Nag Tibba from Mussoorie, one needs to
drive a distance of 34 km and then a further trek for 21 km. Nag
Tibba in Mussoorie remains accessible even during winters when most
of the other trekking routes in Mussoorie are
blocked due to snowfall. Visitors can also interact with locals at
the Garhwali villages during their trekking tour here.
Mussoorie Lake (6 km)

If you are looking for picnic spots in Mussoorie, this is a nice
option. A recent addition to the list of Mussoorie tourist
attractions and excursion places, Mussoorie Lake
has been developed by the Mussoorie Dehradun Development
Authority. The lake lies on the Dehradun Mussoorie Road.
Peddle boating is a wonderful option to soak up heart stirring views
while sailing across the waters of the lake.
Gun Hill

During your sightseeing tour to Mussoorie, you can
not afford to miss the Gun Hill, the second
highest peak in the hill town. Tourists can either trek up to the
hill or use the ropeway to reach the Gun Hill. A
quite tourist spot, Gun Hillis known to afford
panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges and the hill stations of
Mussoorie and Dehradun. Views of places like
Gangotri, Pithwara and Banderpunch can also be
enjoyed from this point.
